The Restaurant and Us
Since 1961, is present in the area the Posta restaurant, where tradition and imagination are mixed to create dishes with ancient flavors to which is added a touch of creativity.
In the center of Baveno, in a historic building of the late nineteenth century with original brick vaults, which was once the old “Stazione di Posta”, comes to life the “ Restaurant Posta”, where the use of animal traction transport, was a place used as a temporary stop for couriers, of private cars and stagecoaches carrying people, goods and correspondence, mainly to make the change of horses while the travelers who continued, could eat in the Post Office Inn
Today the “Posta” has three cozy indoor rooms and, in summer, tables outside.
The outside tables overlook the main square, creating a pleasant atmosphere and in summer are always in great demand!

Our Kitchen
Our cuisine is exquisitely local and regional, although there is no lack of imagination and novelty, as the shores of our Lake Maggiore offer typical products of excellent quality, as well as our valleys and mountains, where excellent meats, wines and cheeses are produced.
Different appetizers, depending on the season, will whet your appetite.
The pasta made by our Chefs will make you feel “at home”, the meat always first choice and the fish predominantly of the lake, will delight the palate with great taste and simplicity and will never miss our “Green” ideas for all those who love vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
The desserts, also carefully prepared by our chefs, will be a sweet temptation that you will not be able to resist.
